    When the battery in Macbooks dies, will the laptop still work off the AC supply? I don't think that is the case with iPads.

    @ Dan Graziano / CNET:  The Mac operating system is called OS TEN followed by its common name (Cat name, Mavericks, what have you) not OS EX…  The "X" is a roman numeral.

    Using Safari as your main browser as opposed to more resource-heavy browsers such as Firefox and Chrome also helps save a bit of battery life.
