    Digital scales best used on solid floor, such as tile or linoleum, they require perfectly flat floor (Use a level, a built in level highly desireable if offered.)

    I got this scale today. Set up. It downloaded and installed a firmware update. I have stood on it 20 times. just standing there. and the weight just jumps around and never locks in. Like all digital scales ive had it moves around in tenths of a pound. but uaually they lock in at some point this one never does. so disappointing. what POS

    One thing also that makes this a lot better than the cheaper one is it doesn't use batteries (4 aaa) and 1 charge last 9 months they say

    You should never weight yourself on carpet – that can throw off the sensors
