I get the reason why ppl dont like the robot but this robot is not for those reasons really. it is simply cute and is a toy u can play with. it would also be a great conversation starter with other people as well as show and tell

393$ plus 3$ a month for an app? F no!!! The app should be free! What if the little guy malfunctions? Omg! What if he gets wet, will he multiply and take over the world?

What i love & find amazing is japan's special technologies that aren't exported worldwide or limited to japan language & material, i love that xenophobic attitude 🙂

The full size robot is just Robi with a different skin. Toyoda did NOTHING! The tiny version of it does what? 400 bucks for having no legs, is just the same as Robi Junior. Again, Toyoda doing nothing lol. But it's cute Toyoda has helped make the Robi more available. Robi full size is available now in America with English, but Robi Junior (with non functional legs) is Japanese Only as of 2018. There ya go CNET I did your job.

Honda is a groups? Group sort of implies multiple entities. Honda is not a multiple person.. it is a company that makes things. I gather this is like Cozmo, if you are not connected to the internet via the phone, it is not an AI nor intelligent. my phone can do all of this but is not as cute. (not to mention, a lot less expensive)
