Broadcasting live sports in 4K HDR is rare. DirecTV is one of the only services doing it, and they’re driving the industry to move forward. With no shortage of new 4K HDR TV’s available, the need for HDR content is there.

Digital Trends went behind the scenes and took a close look at how the CBS and DirecTV production crews delivered 4K HDR sports, live into viewers homes, from the 2018 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro AM golf tournament.

    Actually it would be a good thing to even bump the rexolution to 1080p HDR. This is something that should've been done already done, but the ancients in the TV industry like to take their time.
