The new patch also see’s the return of the Blitz LTM as well as various other gameplay tweaks as players see the Fortnitemares event come to an end.

Epic Games has also announced that NFL themed outfits will be available to buy from the item shop from Friday 9 November.

Each of the outfits will be swappable between the thirty two teams in the NFL and players can customise it by choosing any number from 1-99 for their jersey.

What is in this week’s update?

A new weapon has been added to the game this week in form of a Heavy Assault Rifle.

It is available as a Rare, Epic and Legendary item and can do 44,46 or 48 damage.

The weapon has a 3.75 fire rate and a magazine size of 25, and it can be found in chests, vending machines, supply drops and as floor loot.

With the end of Fortnitemares the Pumpkin Launcher has also been turned back into the rocket launcher.

The balloon item that was released during last week’s update has had it’s spawn rate dropped quite significantly from 12.2% to 2.3%.

A new LTM has also been added this week called Team Terror which uses the monsters from the Fortnitemares event.

Players will be split into two teams of 32 and will try to eliminate the other team while also dealing with Cube Monsters.

The monster spawners will appear all around the map and players can destroy them to get items and ammo.

The Blitz LTM also makes a return and offers a fast-paced version of the main Battle Royale mode.

During the game the storm is already moving in at the start of the match and the wait between each storm is much shorter.
