The reason gta5 came to pc is because every single official entry to the series was released on pc. Rdr is yet to be on pc. I doubt they’re gonna release rdr2 on pc unless they port the first one over we well. Look at the history of the series.

Let me fix your video.. Reasons:

    1) They don't want piracy or modding cutting into profits
    2) They want to double dip by selling on console fist, then to some of the same people on PC
    3) They're lazy and don't care as long as they covered the markets with the biggest profit margin

No bullshit excuses like the ones given above.. Porting to pc is hard! Boohoo, look at how CD projekt red did it, day 1, with 100x less money and 100x less staff

You can play ni no kuni 1 and persona 5 on ps3 emulator rpcs3 in isane 8k if you want… of course if you own the game and you dump it, and it run lika a charm, even better than ps4, that is why i love emulators also the main advantage of pc, sooner or later you can play any game on pc with an emulator.

Couldn't give 2 shit about this "masterpiece" that can't even reach 8.0 score on user metacritic. If they release it a year later on PC I will download the pirate version or not even play the chore of a slow ass gameplay that can't even beat 8.0 score

Don't care after GTAV shit show on PC. I wait for it to get released, and wait for a 50% off, only if it's not riddled with shit DRMs.

Gaben should hire the best developers and make hundreds of the best Steam Exclusive games as they clearly wont anymore. Create the best of the best games and make a deal with Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft that they will bring the games to consoles if they also bring their exclusives to Steam.

We can then unite and praise the mighty Gaben even more.

But sadly that wont happen in our specific universe.

Pirates would never have bought your game in the first place, to say there's money lost there is fucking childishly stupid. I personally make it a point to buy any game that looks like it had this level of effort put into it. I had the option to play GTA 6 pirated but I didn't, I purchased it and it wasn't primarily for the multi-player, I barely played it.

GTA San Andreas, GTA IV and GTA V are all on PC… You said it… It's only a matter of when. I know that if it came out on PC day and date, it would of eaten into the console sales. Since the Xbox One X at native 4K and not on the PS4 Pro… The best version would of been on lot PC monster rigs. Why not just say it… It's bad for the gamers but it's smart for these billion dollar companies. It's not like they are hiring for more money. Be real stop being tools for the corporate money printing machine.

You forget the fact that the XBox One runs windows 10, and so there really isnt any hardware reason why RDR2 cant come to PC

All the numbered GTA games are on PC, not just GTA V. 'When' is not the issue with Red Dead, it's 'if'. Exclusivity is not really a thing with GTA V for Rockstar, it's the PC porting cost: that game is huge. I'm not watching anymore…

If they had put it on PC from the start, I would have purchased a copy on day one. However, because they released it for console first, I have seen more videos on the game, and I now believe it is not as good as red dead redemption 1, so I will no longer buy a copy.

Red dead 1 was a fluke, a surprise masterpiece, that came out at the right time. Red dead 2 looks pretty, but that is all I can say about it for now. Looks like a standard AAA game to me.

The reason is quite transparent and no mystery at all. Take-Two Interactive is trying to earn as much money as possible. This means, RDR2 will be a 'console-exclusive' as long as it sells in sufficient numbers, to justify it in quarterly reports to their shareholders. It has nothing to do with "porting to PC is hard". That is laughable in this generation of x86-architecture consoles. Especially now, that $TTWO & Rockstar Games have extensive data on how much GTA V is selling online on PC (microtransactions), they know exactly the 'breaking point', when to switch to PC and keep reporting to their shareholders maximum earnings and profits.

With the problems I've been having on PC I'm officially done with PC gaming. I always had a PC/Console combination… Then in 2012 I left PC then jumped back into it in 2015. Now it's been nothing, but a headache. 100% of my gaming is officially consoles.

Honestly the reasons are bs. There is a big enough market for the game to come to PC, especially if we’re talking about the “game of the generation”

It's actually and insult to the game it isn't on PC and can't reach anywhere near its full potential. Why should we have to play rd2 at 30fps… It's 2018 for gods sake

So what you're saying is it's anti consumer but you do still buy multiple copies anyway, perpetuating the issue?
I'd choose not to give money to companies intent on anti-consumer behavior rather than giving them even more. Have you considered not being part of the problem?

Just wait till the best version comes out on PC and THEN buy it once, and the really magic bit is you don't need to buy multiple copies to replay the game multiple times…

Also, who on earth drops $400 (plus the $60 game its self) on a different console to play 1 game? That's insane.

this console only release strategy is not making me buy a console…i'm just gonna wait for the PC version like i did with gta 5… it's obvious what they're trying to do and i'm not falling for it….they want me to buy a console and then buy the game twice…nope.. not gonna happen.

It's a true exercise in asceticism to avoid RDR2 spoilers. I'm trying my very best to go blind in this game when it comes to PC next year.

Would like this in my list of 200+ games on Steam I dont have to re-buy for every new console. Plus PC user mods. Stop f*cking around Rockstar.
