I hate that no one talks about pc audio for the layman, about how it works and what hardware to get that doesn't break the bank and such. Thanks for showing us more stuff coming out.

The only thing I don't like in this approach: I'ts a dongle. If only it was a bit more seemleasly done it would be great. About the audio quality, hearing is believing. And I'm waiting anxiously to hear it.

yes, give me a reason to buy creative audio products again plz, still sporting a x-fi music.

since MS killled audio on PC i want it back.

also, if it's really dependent on the compatible list of headphones, i hope you get a good survey going what ppl are using, as many gamers have transitioned to good heatphones (beyerdynamics, sennheiser, AKG) instead of headsets.

I won't fall for this. I fell for the Live 5.1, the Audigy 2 zs, the Zxr, the G1, and was really considering the AE-5(basically a headphone amp) at one point. There is no way that little shit dongle is going to add $150 worth of quality to games, movies or music.

Holographic audio. Do you know that a hologram isn't real? It just looks real. Aureal 3d had the best surround sound I have ever heard in games back in the 90's, but guess who bought them out and suppressed the technology? I loved EAX, it still is awesome if you can get the hardware mixing working on the older titles that supported it.

If Creative wants to come back to how they used to be, they need to find their new "EAX." That would have to be full spatial surround sound for games both horizontal and vertical, along with sound bouncing off surfaces. Ever been walking down a hallway approaching a door open on your left only to hear the sound from that room in your right ear because it was bouncing off the hallway on your right? That is what they need to do. It can go perfectly with Geforce RTX ray tracing tech reflecting things out of view.

    Get creative, Creative.

Awesome love to see them still around and going after the phones who took away the headphone jacks. I remember back in the early 90s being soooo excited for getting my first Soundblaster Card.

Sounds very interesting and promising. I've never been into surround sound as a musician who either uses headphones or studio monitors for listening, but this is something I am definitely going to try out, hopefully the price drops down a bit in the coming months to £100 or below.

Creative squashed the real best headphone experience decades ago, A3D. I still hate them for it.
