Samsung’s next Exynos chipset is coming on November 14 with ‘intelligence from within’

The foldable design-focused Samsung Developer Conference is behind us, the Galaxy S10 is still several months away, and the same probably goes for the company’s visionary next mid-range devices.

But the world’s largest smartphone manufacturer is setting the stage for yet another headline-grabbing event next week. No prizes for guessing what will be unveiled on November 14, as the tech giant is using its Exynos social media accounts to build buzz around this particular announcement.
That basically means the upgraded chip should occupy less space inside the Galaxy S10 (or at least a version of it) than previous flagship processors on flagship phones while greatly improving both raw speed and energy efficiency.

The “next Exynos” is today teased with an “intelligence from within” tagline that may look awfully cryptic at first glance. But it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out a Neural Processing Unit or, put simply, a dedicated AI chip will be part of this state-of-the-art semiconductor package.
